why is my 2005 JEEP CHEROKEE LAREDO overheating while it sitting?

I have a 2005 JEEP CHEROKEE LAREDO v6. While I'm driving it run perfectly fine and does not over heat but when it sitting it will. I have changed the thermist. and the water pump but still can not figure out what is going on with it. If you think you know or have the solution please give me a txt or reply on here, Thanks! 910-650-4725

When no air is moving through the radiator then the engine relies on the cooling fans to pull air through the radiator ... check why the fans not doing its job

Make sure the cooling system has been burped. Thermostat is facing the engine correctly. You should have an electric fan also. There is a thermostatically controlled switch to engage the electric fan. Sometimes they quit functioning and usually cause an overheat situation at idle or slow speeds/ Especially when ambient air temps are high, or the AC is being used. Make sure the electric fan is engaging as required.
