I have a 02 jeep wj 4.7 , i have to get on
the freeway everyday so i have to get onto
the ramp at about 30 and i have short
amount of time to speed up so i have to
take it up to about 2000-2200 .. my
question is will running it to 2000-2200 to
get to freeway speed hurt the car in
anyway . I wouldnt think so becausw it
runs at about 2000 rpm at 65mph

At 2000 rpms that engine is still asleep. Maximum horsepower is 235 @ 4800 rpms and maximum torque is 290 ft/lbs @ 3200 rpms. If your Jeep has the High Output engine (eighth digit of VIN is "J") then you have 295 horsepower. You will feel strong acceleration mostly around 3000-3500 rpms and it will not hurt a well maintained engine. This engine is very strong and nobody ever said it's a slow poke. However it's never good to over rev any engine repeatedly.
