Jeep Grand Cherokee Turn lights sometimes work sometimes don't.

I take bulb out and put back in, works ok for a couple of days . Then stops again, but might be the other side.

look closly at the end of bulb, There are 4 wires. is it burned? also look at where the socket fits into the lamp assm., is the plastic melted at the socket contact?
