I have a 2000 Jeep Gr Cherokee Ltd. The problem is stalling. The car will start and drive about 10 miles, sometimes, then just stop. No warning, no noise, no extraordinary car movements.
The car was with the repair shop 14 months. Checked everything. Acts like it is engaging
anti-theft (just my guess). Two good mechanics have checked it out. Any suggestions
would be ever so grateful! Does not overheat, not leaking oil, starter & battery excellent.
Fuel pump good. Could there be some constriction to the fuel? Fuses checked.
Sometimes it will restart, sometimes not.
Did you change or check the fuel filter? On a 14 year old car it's a good cheap option to check.
