What would cause the rearend to get hot

Have you checked the oil level in the rear yet? There should be a plug on the backside. Remove it and stick you little finger in. There should be oil right to the very edge of the hole. Sometimes it will leak out as soon as you remove the plug. If you can't feel oil with your finger, you will need to fill it up.
What do you mean by hot? The rear will be hot anyway just from normal driving. Is it so hot you can fry an egg on it? Is it making noise?
It gets hot enuof u can bearly touch it the gear oil was boiling
Okay, did you happen to notice the vent tube on the top? Sometimes those get plugged and the rear end is unable to vent. I have seen some get rusted solid. Not sure what kind of set up is under your model, but my Toyota had a metal slide that rusted shut. You may have a rubber tube on a nipple.
