Is it necessary to change lower ball joints on a 1993 jeep Cherokee laredo when you change both axles and hub bearings
The robot thing is a security thing... No you do not have to change the ball joints if they are not bad. It would be a matter of preference since you are right there with it apart.
Thank you I have them but just wondered
Your welcome, I am not a robot either, just so you know...ha,ha.
Are there axle seals that need replaced. They didn't come in the kit
Yes there are, and do not come with the kit, that would be a good idea to change since you are there. You would need a seal puller.
I thought so thanks
Read repair book says it should have ujoint axles not CV joint axle did they modify because it looks like CV joint now
Do the ujoint axles have boots on tjem
No, u-joint axles do not have a boot. What ever you got going on, long as the new parts match. Everything else applies.
Thanks trying to change frt axles on 93 jeep but the book says they should be ujoint butmust have been changed to CV earlier bought the unit from a rancher lol
Long as it works, nothin wrong with that, as long as you can find the right parts that match.
