my 91 ford escort would no start no lights horn batt. is new replace 100 amp fuse under hood turn for 2 mins. then notheing got lights raido horn but will not turn over any help

91 escort sat for 1 year put new batt. in it no lights nothing on dash no horn all was dead then change 100 amp fuse under hood then it turn over for 2 min. then stoped still have have lights horn ect but will not turn motor over its not the batt.

Check all battery connections. Also check the negative connections on the frame and motor. Check starter siliniod for 12 volts when key is in the start position. Might try taking all the spark plugs out and then try to turn engine over with starter. Try turning engine over by hand. Put a wrench on harmonic balancer nut and see if it will turn some then. Also inspect belts. After having set for such a long time might have a couple trying to seize to the pulleys.
