I have a 05 ford tarurs and i turned my ac on and it blew only on the top not through the vents what could it be thanks

Lost the vacuum supply, Fords default position is defrost when the vacuum goes bye bye. Check the main feed line that is attached to the intake manifold, there will only be 1 vacuum line that comes out of the firewall, if that line looks good then you will have to pull out the control head and check for vacuum there, if you have vacuum then it is possible that the control head valve has gone bad, listen for a vacuum leak at the valve itself, if the valve is good then you most likely have a badly leaking servo motor, and to get to most of those the dash panel will have to come out.
