Got a 2005 Ford Taurus.. There is steam coming out the resiviour..just replaced the heating pipe assembly
I recently replaced the heater pipe
assembly in my car..it had a lot of holes
and was leaking coolant.. Well when I drive
and put the heat on I smell heated coolant..
Just tonight my heating gage stayed on
cool. It was raining outside..I parked my car
there was steam coming from the resuvour
area.. The coolant was boiling.. What do
you think it is...
Might be just air that was not purged from the coolant system or the coolant is low, when the hose was replaced. Did a mechanic do it for you? Take it back.
We'll the heating piping was replaced which it is some hoses on the end of them.. But yes a radiator place mechanic did it for me
