2002 accelerator related sensors

My 2002 Taurus acts like the fuel
pumps out I don't know if it's a
sensor

Fastest way to see if you do not have fuel is to spray starter/ether spray in the intake to see if it starts while someone turns over the engine. Can check fuel pressure too.

There are other reason the fuel injectors do not open so if you do not have fuel check your fuel pressure first before putting a new fuel pump. Can rent a fuel pressure tester at most auto parts stores.
