2002 Ford Focus hatchback no chip key

Asked by Grace Feb 28, 2020 at 05:54 PM about the 2002 Ford Focus ZX5

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 Ford Focus hatchback I bought it recently
however with no key I didn't think anything of it until I got
into it to actually do something with the vehicle I I'm not
sure what I'm supposed to do to manipulate the chip or
responder ring to allow it to turn over I had bought a new
ignition for it and a friend had loaned me there code
programmer I realized after about two hours and two
weeks later that what we had done wrong was failed to
erase the previous chip key from the system I don't have
the code programmer machine available anymore however
I do have a set of unprogrammed keys and a cylinder that
would turn over however the car itself does not crank is
there a way that I could make it to where can the engine
over as in bypassing the actual Key Program whatever or
cut certain wires I mean I really don't care even if I have to
start my car with a screwdriver or get underneath it every
single day to connect something it doesn't matter to me
as long as I can use the vehicle

And the locksmith might be able to come to you, saving you the cost of a tow, just call them them during regular business hours to avoid added emergency response fees.
