Crown Vic Motor 4.6L
Ease of installation would be another Crown Vic or Mercury Marquis
Found a 01 Lincoln Continental would that work?
you can put that motor in what ever you wan,t just as long as you have the whole wiring hanrness and computer. does or did the lincoln use to have 4.6? if it did it will be a easy motor swap. everything should bolt and plug right in.
Due to the physical size of the Ford modular V-8 engines (4.6 & 5.4) you would be limited in what vehicle they would fit due to the large size. These engines are very wide at the cylinder heads and cam covers. Best to stay with Ford, Lincoln and Mercury products. A same year Lincoln should be just fine.
