I have a Chevrolet Silverado 3500 diesel model 2002 wondering where is the fuel pump located

I can't get it to start up , it will crank but not hit ..wondering if you could tell me
where the fuel pump is located and if it has electric on it ...thank you

In the gas tank more likely, turn the key on, you should hear a hissing sound coming from the fuel tank if the pump is working
