Sounds like it's starving for fuel. Check your fuel pressure at the fuel rail. Possibly the fuel pump is dying. Hope that helps! Jim

This could be as simple as a loose battery cable, or clogged air or fuel filter. Or more likely, it's leaking injectors that flood the engine, and excess fuel doesn't dissipate until the engine has cooled. Try starting with the accelerator floored; this Wide Open Throttle action clears excess fuel. If this isn't the cause, it could be a defective engine coolant temperature sensor, faulty coils or plug wires, faulty crank or cam position sensors, or faulty EGR valve.

Drive it with a fuel pressure gauge hooked up to it. Check your adaptive fuel PID. Check to see what your O2 sensors are doing.
