my heater door on the drivers side won't switch from hot to cold any easy tips

If its blowing hot, this usually indicates a bad blend door actuator. Not sure about duel climate trucks, but in a single climate truck, the actuator is a flat plastic box, located under the dash and over the hump. There isn't alot of clearance to get the screws holding th actuator in place, and you pretty much have to work in an upside down position. Hope this helps.
