what order do the colors go on my oil pressure switch plug in I have black yellow and orange I pulled the wires out on accident some one please help. its a 03 4.3
You should test for ground or + power, with a multimeter...that would cost you nothing~ bet the black one is ground~
will have to review your schematic...gimme a sec~
okay that wasn't too usable...perhaps this list of colors and devices will help~
okay...that's NO help either...really just test the wires...on voltage and amperage to ground~ see if one is a duplicate ground despite it's color~
all colors are white on the replacement part!~ http://www.partsgeek.com/8j3jlkz-bmw-540i-oil-pressure-switch- connector.html? utm_source=shopzilla&utm_medium=pf&utm_content=mc&utm_campaign =PartsGeek+ShopZilla&fp=pp&utm_term=1994-1995%2C+1997- 2003+BMW+540i+Oil+Pressure+Switch+Connector+- +Standard+Motor+Products
