Does a 2001 chevy silverado 1500 have a screen to keep people from syphening gas?

People in my neighbor hood have reported people syphening their gas. I just want to know if my vehicle has a screen to keep them out or if i can buy something to lock the gas tank

you can buy a locking gas cap for like 20 bucks at most auto parts stores.
yes it does... more than likely cuz just about all newer cars have them
only one problem the hose between fill neck and tank can be removed or cut for easy siphon.
should be a ball at the end of hose built on to the tank spout to stop any hose from entering ,,, should be

Seems Too difficult for this owner, to drain his 2004 Silverado LS Fuel tank, for repairs to lines, (in my driveway). Although I Do, have ramps, I also have 1/2 a tank of fuel ( 100lbs +!) Any tips? (bike straps?) I really could use some help! Thank you. JoelPW
