"car does not turn on"......I assume this vehicle will not... Crank.... over. The warning messages you are observing seem to indicate this vehicle's computers are seeing a fault which is serious enough to not allow you to start and run this vehicle. Welcome to the world of Computer Controlled cars. A phone call to your Toyota Dealership will provide you with directions on what you need to do next. From where I sit....a Scan Tool needs to be connected to the many Computers on this vehicle for a scan for trouble codes and diagnosis. Hopefully....you have some form of extended warranty coverage for this vehicle. Good Luck.

I left the dealership after a 230,000 mile tune up, within a mile the Check VSC and Hybrid lights came on during which the vehicle slowed like it was running on an engine that was out of gas. The dealership told me they do not have a towing service and would give me a loaner once I had the RX400h dragged back to their service area. After 24 hours I got a text message that Lexus mechanics do not have a good handle on the problem yet.

Check your most recent repair bill from this dealership. Lets see what parts and service was performed.

Verbose ... 20,000 mile service, replace engine oil/filter, install new drain plug gasket. Rotate tires set tire pressure + spare Battery service: Clean cable ends and top off water Brake service: Clean pads & lubricate caliper slide pins Intake service: Clean engine filter housing & inspect MAF Replace any & all missing splash shield push pins. Measure tread depth/condition of tires & advise Adjust engine belts, tensioners & hoses as required Inspect coolant, brake, transmission, power steering & hybrid inverter fluids and advise. Top off as required. Inspect undercarriage bolts, suspension, dust covers axle boots, springs, shocks and debris shields. Inspect steering linkage & intermediate shaft. Inspect horn, exterior & interior lights and accessories. Inspect wiper inserts for dry rot & streaking. Replace engine air filter + (If required after inspection) Road test vehicle followed by a wash/vac Parts Filter, Oil Drain Plug Gasket, Engine Oil Dealership drained gas tank and refueled with same results.

Ok...realizing I am not there looking under the hood and checking computers with a Scan Tool...it looks like they changed the engine oil and engine filter...and...rotated the tires. Why they drained the gas tank ang refilled with the same gas they took out...????....unknown. what they should be doing now is a full computer scan with their factofy scan tool...recording code numbers and descriptions.

ALSO....you indicate this vehicle has over 200,000 miles. Consider this. Toyotas hybrid batters are good for and warrentied for 100,000 miles...or...10 years. Let us know the Dealers ultimate diagnosis.

Hi! I have the same problem. Have you solved it?

Yes I was told that the fuel injection rails were clogged. Those were cleared and it is back to running great

Wow...interesting. So when the dealership drained the gas tank they must have correctly suspected a gas tank with bad gas in it......which would ultimately plug fuel lines and injectors. One needs to think......how did bad gas get into the gas tank?
