ICE operation

Asked by dewarg Aug 18, 2007 at 11:47 AM about the 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I come to a stop with the transmission in the "B" position the ICE will sometimes start. I can shut it off by shifting to the "D" position. It does this even with a fully charged battery. Is this normal?

1 Answer

Yes Dewarg, it is absolutely normal. You should swing by a Toyota dealership just for peace of mind though.
