Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Ford Thunderbird LX 4.6L V8. It was
running fine one day and the very next day white
smoke started to come out my tailpipe and it has
gas leaking out the tailpipe and has a smell of gas
on the inside. When I Starr it it throttles for a few
minutes then it stop. It's not running hot theirs no
slug in my oil it still picks up speed it just shake a
little bit had it checked for head gasket and the
cylinders check no cracks. I put gas in and like it
burns out or something cause I just road around
the corner with a half a tank and as soon as I came
back I was on E. Can anybody help me figure this
out.  Also I know my mass airflow censor is bad
can that make my car run like this?

MAF can make the car run bad. It is more important than most people think. Have you tried cleaning it? Not always a solution but many times it is. My car runs better and gas mileage is better when I clean mine.

You might find a cheap replacement online and see if it corrects the issue before buying an OEM sensor. They can be expensive
