while stopped my engine raced and I put my right foot on the brake.My rear tire spun and I shifted into neutral and turned off the engine  It's a 6 cyc with only 18K on it   Very scary!

Congratulations! You did the right thing by shifting to neutral as the brake is not designed to stop/hold the car with the engine at high revs. I hope Toyota can fix you up. Good luck.
