How does all wheel drive Passat handle in snow, ice, rain

Do t actually own one but know someone who does and in the snow they seem to find traction where most cars don't so they keep going when you don't expect it

That's why they make all-wheel-drive but the tires must be good with aggressive tread- also, don't get overconfident, as the car will not STOP any better than any other car-

The 4motion system is a notable performer in bad weather and snow. Had it on my Tiguan and loved it. Good tires are a must as well. Also, the new textile ISSE "chains" (socks) make the package complete.
