How do i change the pvc valve?

Well if it's an SL or SC the PCV will be located on the cam cover. There's the valve of course and then there's a vacuum line. All you have to do is pull the valve from the vacuum line. If it's been in there awhile then you might have to struggle with the valve for a little bit...but otherwise that's all it takes. I've attached a photo of what the PCV valve looks like after you've pulled it out of the vacuum line.

the hose part keeps coming loose, ive tried blk elect. tape around it, but after a while it appears the tape feels melted? the service engine lite keeps coming on. also what does the other hose line that connects to the air filter look like please?
