I have a 1995 BMW 318I in perfect condition. Computer is not reading key. Power to everything but started/ful pump. Anyone have any suggestions?

Do you have another KEY(master) is this the key with the light on it?... to try on the IMMOBILIZER, The battery was not down lately? 12.6 volts The DME (Digital Motor electronics) name for BMW computer is a headache without the proper scan tool '95 is the first year of this. send more info about the transponder key, and how long its been a failing or is the first time?

Only have the one key, and there is no light on it. And the battery is new. Good charge on it. Been making a headache for about a month.
