Turns over will not start ford f150 v6 2002

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced the crank sensor a few
months ago when it was running
rough and it fixed the problem,
shortly after I hit a big puddle and I'm
assuming that triggered it to go out
again because it immediately started
doing the same thing (it hangs from
the bottom of the motor) I took it out
and dried it out and replaced it with
tape, changed my plugs and plug
wires and it ran rough but not
horrible. Decided I was done with it. I
also put a cheap sensor in due to
being short on money at the time,
well months later last week, it dies
after driving two blocks. Cranks over
but will not start. Check for spark
and there is none. I have fuel and the
fuel pump is working. I was advised
to change the coil pack and did so
still not the problem. Could this be
that dang crank sensor?
