I would have to look up all the codes for Ford VIN, all cars have certain constants with VIN #'s but some differ, Forget about VIN and tell us what engine you have. That is 17 digit vehicle, not engine VIN

And the only difference in those two VIN #'s is one is a 1998 and the other 2000, so the answer to your question, after all that....... is a simple: yes
