1998 E350 7.3l front brake problem

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi,
Hope someone can help... In the AM, when I first drive off, I touch the brakes to stop and the front left wheel chirps and skids for 6 inches. This continues for the next 10 braking moments. I have replaced the front pads and the left side is worn far more than the right. What could be leading to the problem? What should I start checking first?
Thanks, MikeK
