I have Ford Block with the numbers DTTE-A8B on it can you tell me what
engine it is?

Your casting number is likely D7TE-A8B which would be a 351M or 400 block.1977-1982 D7TE-6010-A D7TE-A1A D7TE-A2A D7TE-A2B D7TE-A3A CF or MCC foundry code. Reinforced main webs. 351M/400 truck only.

D7TE-A8B, do a search. Ford does not use 4 letters, they used a letter, number and 2 letters. It is a 351m/400 block most likely.
