Did you check primary voltage at coil, pink wire, goes hot with the key on. Use a test lite to check for voltage. Anything? Fuse protected, ecm 1 fuse--20 amp, under hood fuse block. Any applicable trouble codes?

My hearing is no good, the phone gives me problems. I don't do email, sometimes I can remember my email password and sometimes I can't. I'm in my 70s. I will try to keep an eye on this post.
Battery voltage. If you use a test lite and probe the wire, if the lamp turns on, there is voltage. If you make a hole in the wire use fingernail polish or something to cover the hole. I suppose you could back probe the connector. If you want to check actual voltage reading, you could use digital multimeter. Take reading across battery posts, key on, the reading at the coil should be close to the same. Make sure battery has a full charge.
