will motor and transmission fit

I have a 99 Dodge 1500 I was wondering if the
motor and transmission would fit into a 2004
Dodge Durango.

Probably will fit, but will not run, unless you change the ECU and wiring harness, even if the motors are the same. In those years they changed the ring tone, (reluctor) in the engine from a 16 tooth reluctor to a 32 tooth.
