Can anyone help with my stereo problem?

I hope this makes sense.
i have a kenwood stereo in my nissan micra 2002, but it was very old so i
bought a new one. I plugged it in and turned on my car but it didnt work so i
changed back to my old stereo and now my old one wont work either. :/
ive checked all the fuzes and wires so i dont know what to do now :(

the computer runs everything , you'll probably need an interface adapter of some kind , see a pro car stereo shop and bring your wallet , the days of black wire red wire are over ,
