Can I register a truck in my home state of Ohio and use my plates if i buy it in Arizona

Am having car troubles and need to replace my truck while on trip to Baja Mx.

No matter where you buy your vehicle, it must have the title transferred to your name in your home state, that is the state you have your license from. You can however get temporary tags from the state of Arizona, all you need is the trucks title, it doesn't have to be transferred to your name, as long as the previous owner signed it over to you. Temp tags give you 30 days, if you need more time you'll have to get another temp tag from the Arizona BMV.
