1987 RAM 150 rear differential

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My rear differential is slipping and I don't know if it
takes gear oil or trans fluid, and or what would be
the best to use.

should use gl4 , but if it slipping than the clutches are worn out.rebuild time.

If it is truly "slipping," you need a complete rebuild or just a replacement axle from a "recycler" (junkyard).
