Question type: Maintenance & Repair

01 Tahoe lt 4wd. Rear brakes where dragging.
Replaced calipers and rubber hoses and this made
it much better. But noticed wheels still pretty warm
after a drive. Jacked it up and brakes still dragging
a little. With engine on pumped brakes and they
dragged. Turned engine off pumped again and
freed them up. Front wheels sometimes feel a little
warmer than they should as well. Master cylinder?

It can be the master cylinder, try opening the bleeder valve on the locked brake and see if it releases right away. I'd suggest start looking at calipers and flex line first, but you already replaced those, and as the problem is affecting all 4 brakes - master cylinder.

Thanks. I will try that again. That's how I found the flex lines where bad. Is there anything else in the system that could possibly prevent fluid from returning to the master I should look at just in case. ABS or anything.
