Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car is a 85oldsmobile toronado and will run for
a long time and it acts like it runs out of gas and
dies but after a minute or two it will start back and
runs

try an old trick...put some insulation on the fue line..you didnt say if / when it does it.....also check float level

Look at your fuel filter in the tank. I have had this same problem and it took me a long time to discover this was the problem all the time.
