96 z71 won't start cold

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 96 z71 5.7l will not start when it is cold (-1C) if
it's plugged in starts right up checked fuel pressure
solid 60-65 psi changed fuel pressure regu later
checked engine coolant temp sensor it's good too
any suggestions?

Check compression, check cap, rotor, wires, & plugs. Also may want to do a fuel bleed down test.
