96 Sentra won't start
Car has been sitting for 5 days; before that was running fine. Today I turned the ignition and the dash lights came on (radio also turned on)... but nothing else but a real quiet hum happened when the car should be turning over. No battery 'rev' at all.
THEN I came online to see if others inquired about this. Someone said might be fuel line and to try turning the key on for a few secs, then off, then try again. I turned the key; again dash lights came on, but THEN EVERYTHING clicked OFF and now I've got no sign of any life whatsoever. Any ideas? Esp that won't COST anything because I've got nothing to spend! Thank you
Check the battery and the connections at it,
Thx for responding T_S_T - Battery connections are fine (I have nothing to test the battery with here)... the puzzling thing was that dash light and radio worked fine at first, but then during one effort I turned the key a millimeter further, at which point there was a subtle *click* and everything then went dead. Odd. Just... odd.
