Sounds like water swishing

My mom has a 2001 Lincoln Town Car Signature
When you accelerate/turn you hear a swishing sound.
Sounds like water or some other kind of liquid.
Took it in and they seem to think there may be water behind the console.
Is this something to worry about or not.

I would be concerned anytime water is trapped anywhere that it shouldn't be
