Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I make the first drive to begin
my day no matter if it is hot or cold
out side when I put my 2011 ford
fusion into drive it sounds like water
is running through my engine. It does
it for about 5-10 seconds then it
stops. Every time I get out of my car
do what I need to do. Get back in
and start my car when I begin to
drive it sounds like water is running
through the engine. It's very loud.
Can someone please give me advise
on what it can be. I have taken it to
the dealer ship to figure out what the
problem is and they don't know.
Please help !!!!!!

TSB 12-1-19 sounds like the issue you are having. Assuming you have a 2.5L. take it to the dealer see if the problem you are having falls under this TSB.

Ford told me it sounds like the Air Conditioner ducts are clogged. They would have to do a diagnostic test at $130.00 to be sure. This is not covered under warranty and my extended warranty ran out about 10 miles ago. I would have to drop it off and they would have to find which one and then drain it. I didn't go yet, sounds like a lot to just look at it!!
