1999 Honda CR-V will not start. I changed the fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator along with the fuel filter and the main relay but the vehicle still will not start. The distributor along with the coil was replaced about two months ago, spark is ok. Sometimes the vehicle start for a few second but the engine stalls as if the timming is off but the timing is ok, also sometimes it back fires and when it does the vacuum hose that is connected to the fuel pressure regulator comes off from the regulator. I check the injectors and they are getting power. I disconnected the exhaust thinking of the catalytic but still no start. Could it be the computer? Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thanks 4 answers

ok, hello and thanks in advance for the help ... i have a Hyundai santa fe 2006, this is my story... i was out with the car and in a flash the car stop runing, and would not start again. I took it home with the help of a friend and began to try diagnose the problem because the check engine light was on... another friend came with a scanner and the code that came out of the pcm or icu told us that the problem was in the ride by wire system. I replace de system (pedal and servo unit in the intake manifold) pass the ignition switch, the check light went of... I try to start the car and the starter work fine but the car would not start! I began checking out the fuel pimp, and works fine; then I check the coil sparks and notice that in 3 easy ones to check front coils there is not spark whatsoever ... I try again to scan the car in the event that maybe another part or sensor was faulty, but the scanner says everything is fine! So, can anyone help me? Giovanni 1 answer

My 1990 Alantee acts like it is not getting gas. I can shoot starting fluid in the air filter and the car runs fine until the fluid burns out. I checked the fuses in the center console and they are OK. This happened after the security system went off as a result of me changing a dead battery. I was wondering if there are 2 possibilities preventing the car from running. 1 â Did the factory security system cause my fuel pump to deactivate? And do I need to reset it??? Or 2 â could I have blown a fuse someplace when I changed batteries? I suspect the fuel pump has no power because when I turn the key, I can not hear the pump. Thanks for your comment on this question. 10 answers
