can any one please advise what engine oil should i use for toyota allion 2006. what is the service interval for this car also.

These cars are sold only in Japan, or imported. The maintenance schedule is the same as the Corolla for 2006. Use 5W30 synthetic and change at maximum of 10,000 miles. And please for the sake of your car use a quality filter

@ fordnut; thanks for the reply... i am a pacific islander and we use km and the norm hea is they say is to change oil every 5000km... now you saying 10000miles... miles and km are diffrnt. this is the reason why i entered this forum to get advise from people like you... so u confirm 10000miles to be 16000km to change engine oil??? yeah i will buy a genuin toyota filter...

Yes. But that is absolute maximum. Really should be 7,500 to 8,000 miles,. or 12,000 to 16,000 km (rounded off). And a good filter is important. Very. I am also talking about synthetic oil. I don't know what is available in in the SP but if you can only get conventional, aka mineral or petroleum motor oil cut that distance in half.

hi, i have looked around for 5W-30 oil and managed to find two products... one is a total quartz 7000 and the other one is mobile 2000 both are semi synthetic... wat say fordnut... which one u recommed... total one is around $50 and the mobile is $120... dont worry about the cost...if u know which brand is best pliz advz.
