My 2002 GMC Yukon died while I was driving it, the engine oil light was on and now the car will not start backup. Plus the battery will not charge

probably the alternator. the battery may be toast also, have it load tested. if the oil light came on when the car died, it could just be the dash lights coming on when the engine dies. that will happen. if the oil light was on beforehand, you could be low on oil.
