Changed the clutch cylinder in my 96 cavalier. Now the clutch won't budge. The rod won't even move to bleed it. Please help.

something was re-assembled out of alignment/position...as I recall the rod is adjustable...a bit...perhaps the brand new out of the box has some packing dowel in the bore?...I'd take it apart and examine whatever documentation you've got including an exploded view diagram~
