Have 1999 camaro and the lights flicker seems the higher the rpm the faster the flicker

Alternator/Voltage regulator might be failing. Also check all your grounds and battery cable connections. What voltage are you getting to the battery with the engine running? Should be a constant 14V.

I agree, it sounds like one of the three alternator diodes has failed.
