i have a 1989 dodge dakota 4x4 sport took the v6 out and put a 318 in it it was a old mud
truck befour i got it and when my dad gave it to me the 4x4 low did not work he cramed it in
4x4 low and it went in drove around the farm come home and put it in park went to reve it up
and it started jumping like it was in drive i checked the linkage andit was not stuck can it be
the tork converter

I've noticed on some vehicles when you put them in park you still get some movement if you rev it, but it doesnt go anywhere. Being in 4Low, any small force is amplified coming from the engine. Idk if its normal, things wern't ment to be in 4low all the time so the designers may not have worried about things like that.

And no, it wont be the torque converter
