Is it safe to use those solutions you put in the radiator to seal up a leaky or blown head gasket

I have a 1995 Cabrio and its overheating. Some water is blowing out the tail pipe.

You're not going to fix a blown head gasket by pouring something in the radiator. Remove the head, replace the gasket, etc., etc., etc.
