I have a 2004 kia optima that quit running. The check engine light came on and it wouldn't start. I'm only getting spark to the passenger side and not the driver side. When I put a wrench on the crack and try to turn it by hand it only goes so far and then it binds up. Can someone help me out with where to start looking for they problem

OK i'm stumped. I have a 2001 ford explorer(please keep comments about fords to yourself ). I've had 4 episodes where i was driving along with no issues and the even though i am excellerating the car stops running and the stalls out. Once i pull it to the side of the road and try to start it it back fires and qcts like it it out of gas but if you wait 30 plus minutes it will start and run for a bit longer then repeats itself a couple more times but then it will runs for days until it does it again. The check engine light is not on but the check gas cap is on. we replaced the gas cap and it is still on. The first time this happened I had it towed and the mechanic tightened the serpentine belt and fixed the manifold gasket. Does anyone have any ideas???? 14 Answers

I have a 08 dodge charger with the 2.7 l engine. it was throwing the code for the fuel level sensor so i replaced the fuel pump on the driver side and still have the check engine light on. could it be the passenger side that needs to be replaced as well? ok, hello and thanks in advance for the help ... i have a Hyundai santa fe 2006, this is my story... i was out with the car and in a flash the car stop runing, and would not start again. I took it home with the help of a friend and began to try diagnose the problem because the check engine light was on... another friend came with a scanner and the code that came out of the pcm or icu told us that the problem was in the ride by wire system. I replace de system (pedal and servo unit in the intake manifold) pass the ignition switch, the check light went of... I try to start the car and the starter work fine but the car would not start! I began checking out the fuel pimp, and works fine; then I check the coil sparks and notice that in 3 easy ones to check front coils there is not spark whatsoever ... I try again to scan the car in the event that maybe another part or sensor was faulty, but the scanner says everything is fine! So, can anyone help me? Giovanni 1 Answer

how do i fix my drive by wire i have a 2005 dodge ram 1500 4x4 4 door truck and it cuts out on me while driven can i have it reprogrammed or do i have to buy a new unit for iti know when i drive down the road and it cuts out and i pull over to rerstart it wont start unless i turn the key all of the way off and back on to the on position only and push on the gas pedal down and then let it back up it will start rite back up that is the way to reset the throttle and it does work but there has to be a point when it is not gunna work anymore so what do i do 4 Answers
