98 grand prix supercharged engine swap

I have a 98 grand prix supercharged that is
blown up I can get a 3800 out of an impala.
I need need to know are the engines
exactly the same minus the supercharger.is
it just a bolt on thing or more

it should hook right up,what year is the impala.

Not for sure yeat iam going to call tomorrow just word of mouth right now. the reason I asked is because I have read that the 2 engines have different compressions and I might have to change pistons

NO,not just for a engine swap,compression dont matter,if its a 96-97-98-99.it will sit right in and bolt right up,wireing harness is same.

Ok thanks I forgot to mention that the impala engine was non supercharged but I don't think they put a supercharger in those cars did they?
