I painted my car with one stage paint 3 years ago. can i still wet sand and buff it to shine it up a bit?

I wasn't sure since there is not actually a clear coat. I don't know much about the 1 stage paint. it was cheap so I used it.

I wanted to wet sand and buff it right after i did it but i never got around to it. Was wondering if anyone knew whether it would still be fine to do it 3 years later.
