temp guage

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my temp guage is always in the middle where is the sending unit? when i turn off the engine the guage goes to cold so i am sure the guage works. but i cant fint the sending unit on the block.

the sensor does not have to be on the block, it could on manifold, or thermostat, or even radiator, depending on the make and model of vehicle
